As I prepared this summer to preach the book of James this fall at Connect Church Albertville. I renewed my commitment to journal my reflections on the book and my response to the Holy Spirit’s leading as I digested the book. The time of disciplined seeking has proven restorative and good for my soul, my family, and hopefully my congregation. The full weight and joy of James is difficult to administer on Sundays in the 30 minute preaching block. So, I am going to share my slightly edited journal entries from my time of study in the book of James. I hope that you find them helpful, honest, and ultimately glorifying to God.
May Christ commune with you as he has with me,
