Jesus Feeds: Mark 6:30-44

What we find in the calling to something higher and the deepening of our faith is that the “everything” is about more than “everything” that is going on. The mission is more than the kids in our community who don’t get Christmas, more than the people who are displaced by war, more than the billions of people that are dying without hearing the truth of the gospel. It is about more than feeding 5000 families. It is about being satisified with the all consuming, never faultering, never tiring person of Jesus Christ. It is the reminder that I am weak and he is strong. I am incapable, but he is capable. That I am scared, but that he is sovereign.
